9. Respond And React
Being able to properly respond to a request or a change in pace or situation is one of the finer traits many employers value, but not all candidates posses.
When an obstacle or a change is presented, it’s crucial for all employees that they’re able to become flexible and to get accustomed to the newfound situation quickly. Otherwise, they become slow and less productive, which isn’t something you’ll want on your referral note.
This also refers to responding to a fresh task with efficiency and focus. People who don’t panic and cry for help when there’s a problem or a new task but deliver or adapt in a timely manner are often valued employees, which you’re aiming to become.
